who gives a damn i think both exadurate too much but i dislike it when people who dont the first thing about bushcraft write about who is best... its just the same as "the best guitarist" no one is better, its a childish remark to make because from what you see on TV wouldnt begin to show "the best". maybe you should take up bushcraft as a hobby then you might begin to realise what i am talking about.

thats pathetic... i dont really think much of either, but the way you put it makes no sence at all. the thing is from what i have seen, they could both survive fairly comfortably if Bear dosnt know anything how come he shows a few real survival tips in his videos... like you say "camera crews arnt survivor men" im not biased to either but what you guys say is just odd!

Sense* Sure they could probably both survive if left alone. Les actually does it. Bear does not. Bear deceives his audience and makes irrational decisions. He's a drama queen and depends on smoke and mirrors so he looks like a hero. He's incompetent at best.

yeh im not defending him, i know les is the real deal, i have read this list of all the fakes bear has pulled and there is lots of them. my problem with these two tv shows is that they exadurate alot. i know it makes good tv but its quite funny the way they strut onto camera shot, look left and right suspiciousely then say something full of exciting words. i didnt meen to sin by defending bear, please forgive me! i just feel sorry for him getting so much hate, perhaps a little unjustified.

ok all of you people need to shut up and realize that Bear presents himself to the extremes to show you how to survive, and Les shows you how he survives alone, more or less. They are both great shows and both can save your life in a survival situation by watching them, so dont talk trash about either one, because when it comes down to it, they both have the necesary skills to survive in the situations they fall in.

Actually, it's a great shame. I like to think that Bear felt like it was necessary to lie like he did, because the majority of his audience just watched it for the "shock and wow" factor. I would have been perfectly fine with out all that!
