im a big time mac user, and i thought linux was a load of shit and a poor excuse for an Operating System, then i got curious... downloaded UBUNTU ISO and burned it to a disc, and played around with it linux is actually not that bad. it comes with Office software which can read/work with Microsoft Office stuff, a bunch of little arcade games and is really nice, though i still love my Mac Linux isnt bad at all(its better than PC)

i use linux but prefer microsoft. Sure you can customize and tweak it to levels never seen on pc or mac. but people prefer other os's for the same reason people use consoles rather than pc to game. they dont have to wast tones of time to do something that on another platform is easy and hasstle free. i would use linux when it becomes more reliable and supports more hardware and software without having to jump through hoops.
