Exactly, Harper and Johnson do what they do well enough, but they just don't seem that strong to me stacked up against acts like Albert Hammond, Jr or Fleet Foxes.

i find people like john mayer, very impressive, but not everyones cup of tea. he can get very technical, and i know not alot of people enjoy that. where as this isn't impressive. but it's easy to listen to. i mean i don't know anyone who couldn't just sit down and listen to jack johnson. it's called easy listening because thats what it is. yeah he's not the best guitarist, but that doesn't matter. look at kurt cobain, shit singer, shit guitarist, was incredibly famous.
