This speech is awesome and has such a great impact on me. Although spoken 40 years ago it still applies to today, 5 months after my son Drayton, 21 was murdered by a 16 year old who demanded his vehicle and while driving off in it shot my boy twice in the stomach and when he turned to run, shot him again in the back.

More people should watch this video. Unfortunately, many idiots in this world still crave for violence. This is what I think: Ignorance leads to fear, fear leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. Those who have no cause for senseless violence are the worst creatures of this earth, the rest kill people for the sake of their own ideals and comfort in this life. I think ignorance is the major cause of violence since many don't know the pain they cause for others through violent acts.

Today we are witnessing the most inhuman injustice in Gaza. Its the type of injustice Bobby was writing about in the sixties. The type of violence that breeds greater and more hateful violence. What we have is terrorism being dealt with by more defiant state terrorism, while innocent humans are slaughtered in the crossfire of hate. We can only hope Barack Obama can find a solution there must be another way, other than a state resorting to overwhelming aggression to prevent aggression.
