After watching the dub for episode 114, I began to wonder whether the head honchos of 4Kids Entertainment make bets to see who can make a crappier episode. Episode 114 was the turning point in the series. All the things that Satou tells Judai are vital plot points that lead to Judai's actions la
ter in the series. Not to mention the fact that 4Kids cannot take anything seriously. That's why people hate 4Kids, because 4Kids makes everyone immature. That, and that craptastic screeching chalkboard they call "background music." Please do not insult me by saying that the dub is "infinitely
better than the sub" because that would make you a moron. I don't care if you watch the dub, so do I (mostly to have something to laugh at), but there's no basis in saying that the childish jokes that 4Kids comes up with are better than the serious dialogue of the original, especially regarding this

| i would love if funni bought it. remeber the uncut yugi oh done by funni and the same dubbing cast. The ystill put somem uch emotion into Yugi and didnt cut anything out but sense 4 kids had rights to all yugi oh stuff it was illegal for funnimation to do the dub. I mean Toei or whateevr at least turned things a diffrent color to notify as a censor but not change the story over all xD. either way ..watch the dub and ur only get like 25% of the full story..5Ds i feel srry ;- |

| I agree with what your saying but you have to remember it's all about who is viewing these episodes in Japan Yu-Gi-Oh/Yu-Gi-Oh Gx/Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's there kind of adult shows in Japan so the dialogue is more serious. The Dub is intended for youth audiences only you know between 10-15 that kind of range i understand people older than that watch the dub but there's a reason it's aired on YTV and on Fox Tv's kids portion of the day. |

| I myself do not mind to dub or the sub, the only thing I care about much is Atticus's stupid freaking singing! And that's not in this episode. For the most part, few changes are made. This is one of those episodes where they where. The biggest, stupidest change was they left out the Darkness episodes with Fubaki and Fujiwara and stuff! (which, as we know, rock!)I had more to say but it was a lot and I went over the character count... |
