Capitalism isn't a perfect system. Millions of people live in poverty thanks to it. Just look at Brazil. 10% of the population own over 50% of all the resources/money. And if it's the same scenario in India, I understand why people are revolting. I'm not a communist more of a social democrat.

Well, maybe because,the people who joined the Maoist revolution are illiterate , they know nothing of an outside world and they are hungry , poor and desperate .Its easy to manipulate such people and make them fight for some outlandish cause like communism or because the God told them.

The poor can be easily brought to communism because they think that it will make everyone more equal which is true but the only equality that is achieved with communism is that the average citizen remains poor and the rulers get absurdly rich. If the Communists are able to take over in India, that could spell the end of U.S. and Indian economic relations.

That's not real communism. The problem with communism/socialism is that it shouldn't be a national government. It should be small local communities. And it would be hard to pull of anyway because what sounds good on paper or in and ideal doens't mean it's a good alternative in the real world

you have to ask yourself why socialism has existed for centuries in many communities. Because Marx, Lenin all of these people who got the idea for socialism/communism got it from people of the Americas, also many african nations had it as well, but not as a national government. They were small communities.
