You might want to start with Kevin MacDonald's work - it's a trilogy. Which I read after doing research on a paper for school, culling records from the LAPD, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept, FBI and "dot gov" (love that Youtube hates us writing URL's). It was quite an eye opener. Unfortunately people take this info the wrong way or it's attacked - without being disproven. If you want "personal" contact with this, order camera gear from shops in NYC via the web or mail order.
