I've never put winter tires on my '05 Subaru, just has all season tires. I live in Alaska and I've never gotten stuck or in an accident. Meanwhile my silverado has studs and 300 lbs. in the bed.

It may happen here since our parking lots in our apartment complex requires permits. So If you don't have a permit you pay $120 cash to get your car back. And if the streets are caked with ice.... then campus bus will probably push it outta the way for you ;)

I wish my neighbors would park in their driveways. They have a driveway that's three cars deep but so they don't have to move cars around, they park in the street because it's more convenient for them.

Not even 10. Depending on how icy it is the only cars that could handle that kind of stuff is all wheel drive with chains. But, the driver also has to be experienced with driving on ice/snow.

whoever is filming this is a real asshole. a decent person would have gone and got the owners of that green escort and the tan contour and told them that people were sliding and that they should move their car. but that blue escort that saved it did a hell of a job driving right there. im really impressed.
