then explain to me why this should be overturned by small group of people? So it's basically not about " to make ME happy" if would have been an Obama voter, it's all what's good for the party. If Obama or Hillary loses as candidate, you know what that means? your points are extremely confused, and it is obvious you do not understand it, but then again most americans do not either, see we have (within the party) "proportional" representation which gives preference to regions that voted for the previous candidate, they get a greater amount of representation (unfair but true) when you toss aside 2 entire states you eliminate the rights of voters, who you will need to depend on in a general election.

now the general election is the key here, because the numbers are quite different between electorate math and delegate math, so in the general election these regions (districts) WILL NOT receive the same preferential treatment, the candidate will have to overcome different hurdles, if the wrong candidate is choosen and enough voters switch candidates then it is the party that loses, this is why they created superdelegates, specifically to overturn a bad nomination.

I'm an American and I couldn't agree more with you. I think we should have a national voting day and all parties should be given equal footing, with debates after primaries including the top 4 or 5 candidates for president. We should also revise the electoral college so it is more inclusive, but not disband it since California, TX, and NY have like one third of the nation's population and half the states would be discounted if it was solely popular. I hate the bicameral system.
