| She's tethered to the handrails, so couldn't leap and make a grab. They do have small thrusters, called the SAFER, but that should only be used in an emergancy (such as a broken tether). Good question. PS To the rest of you, the toolbag contained a scraper and a grease gun. Your millions of dollar statements are based on crap reporting by the likes of the AP. Takes amazing skill to be able to do EVAs, 8 hours outside the ISS at 17,500mph, most of you lot couldn't do it. |
