They say ours started out as an English drinking song. I doubt there was much grog in the jail where the Brits held Francis Scott Key. Surely Carlin is the best. I'm glad he's well recorded because he's not just funny - he's provocative and relevant.

So which is it that Carlin doesn't like: war, or war against people who aren't white? He mentions fighting the Japanese Empire in WWII in a negative light (a Japan which was truly racist, nationalistic, and warmongering), but does not mention the war against Germany.
When it comes to the (white) Civil War re-enactors, though, he wishes they were using live ammo -- i.e., that they were really at war with each other and killing each other! Talk about your double standards.

Are you sick? the A-bomb killed indiscriminatly. Anything unlucky enough to be in the area was blown away! That is never justifiable! Im no liberal but you have to draw a line somewhere. There is no honor in dropping a bomb. Now we have the ability to wipe out entire citys at the slightest whim, what do you think that does to the value of life in the mind of the modern man?
well..... think asshole!!!! Iraqis and africans and chinese oh my! Americans are priceless though, don't forget.
