Yeah, revolution means more people die. Not to mention, powerful people will come out on top after any revolution.
We supposedly constructed our way of government to serve the people, to be run by the people and to be endorsed by the people. That is our answer -- Of the people, BY the people, and FOR the people. Get rid of special interests. Get rid of hidden agendas (like the North American Union) and let'
s get back to basics. Fix it, don't break it for them.

I think the people are running their government... badly. They're not paying attention. They don't see the connection with who is in power and how it aqffaects their daily lives. The system works, but people aren't working it. Dump corporate welfare, war profiteeing, and hopefully the Federal Reserve, and we'll never have another depression.

We bombed civilians in WWII to bring our enemy leaders to their knees. Terrorism. Terrorism is defined as: "The systematic use of violence as a means to intimidate or coerce societies or governments." That is what the A-Bomb did.. We bombed a city.. We did not bomb a military base or a fleet of incoming hostiles.. We bombed civilians in their homes.. We sinned/murdered/terrorized in order to "win".. So the Dean thinks the Left is not authoritarian when they want to redistribute wealth, initiate a government takeover the oil industry (refer to the comments of Maxine Waters) or at least a huge "windfall" tax (i.e. another tax on consumers), create socialized health care, repeal the second amendment, etc. etc. I believe in smaller government and greater freedom, so let's be honest about who favors larger, authoritarian government: The Left.

the research that is the subject of this interview is done by social scientists using empirical method. That means the results were obtained in a very objective way and are repeatable and they support the theory every time. There are left wing authoritarian followers but they would live in communist countries. There the authority is on the left, not on the right as in the USA. Democrats are in the middle in the US now, repubs are getting towards far right.
