It wasn't ridicule, they were jokes within the text of the Bible. Noone was truly disrespected (except Santa, who IS fictional).
Jesus fulfilled the will of God so we may be saved...he told the apostles himself not to be sorrowful over what was to transpire. As long as we are respectful we can appreciate humor with Him too.

Matthew 7:1a: "Judge not, that ye be not judged" That one? lol. But again, I'm not religious or anything, I was just pointing out that Wychicov clearly believes in hell, which means he is a religious person, and thus if he turely was, he'd know that passing judgment was a sin.

You didn't read the entire verse, which goes on to state a Christian shouldn't judge others before cleaning up his own act. You know, the "remove the splinter from thine own eye before removing it from thy brother's" thing.
Passing judgement is not a sin (although excessive judgement is what turns most away from Christianity). I just wanted to clear that up.
