What is a Powerball Techno? What does it do?

Video Description:
It's the evening and I have a new digital camera to play with so I recorded this short video demonstrating one of my favourite toys. People do say it's an exercise tool, not a toy though. I say it fits in your hands, has lights and makes a noise - it's a toy!
The light levels and sound capture are awful, but I put that down to trying out the new camera. The word at 1:20 is "gobbledegook".

Keep it very loosely held in your hand and be very gentle. It's difficult, but you'll get the hang off it eventually.

Does the techno power ball display anything on the opposite surface? (the side covered by your hand) I still havent quite got it to display the score but it seems to be trying to be displaying something on the top rather then the bottom like in this vid... Any help much appreciated coz im starting to think its faulty!

I think you might be spinning the gyro the wrong way round. If you spin it in the direction of the arrow on the gyro then it should light as in this vid, but if you spin it in the other way then it lights on the other side (the side covered by my hand). That's how my one works, anyway. I hope that helps!

What happens with me is that the numbers spin, not scroll, they just spin aoung in the centre, which is really wierd, I'm starting to think it's faulty.
