Video Description:
So many singers, unknown as well as famous, have unsuccessfully sang this Irish song. I admit this is a hard song to sing but to me, this version by Eva Cassidy is perfection if ever there is perfection. I don't believe anyone can sing this song as beautifully and with as much sincere emotion as Eva.
A note I wish to add on Nov1, 2007, for those who do not know, tomorrow Nov 2, 2007 is the 11th anniversary of Eva Cassidy's death 11 years ago.

i know a lot of eva cassidys interpretations of songs, and i think every song she sings is wonderful! i get tears into my eyes when i hear her singing. so emotional, never heard of sucha kind of voice befor. it's a pitty than she died so young... A wonderful and sad song... won't ever forget her
