I can feel for the IT people but I have to say this could have been prevented. Clues: "Why do I have to use an outside line to call you?" (answer he is using AOL), rebooting his computer, seeing the server running, and the website is coming up on my screen. He should have figured its the sales guy's computer and should have done a remote access from the beginning. Obviously the IT guy was more into Halo than the call plus the 'give-a-shit' attitude didn't help; it cost the company time/money.
