I must also add ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
I must also add this... without understanding that this is not an attack on humanity, but an attack on ignorance. Man must see what he is creating. We are all guilty of it. We attack when we are being attacked. It is man's survival instinct to act as such. Pride is what causes this instinctive trigger when we are not willing to accept the truth and look inside of us. Its expected, because we are all learning as we go. Its to be expected. We must learn HOW to TEACH, knowing how we learn ourselves
Forgive me ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
Forgive me hillbilly.. I don't tell you this out of disagreement, I tell you this out of seeing it within myself and knowing the misunderstanding and confusion its caused in me. I tell you this out of love and compassion for the truth.
Pride is no good. It makes us put ourselves first before the message of what's being said. We are all learning. And will continue to do so in truth, no matter what mistakes we have made. Because we are all guilty of it. Peace Brother
You can only be ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
You can only be brave in a land surrounded by lions. There should be nothing to fear in a land that seeks the truth, but instead it should be a way of life, and nothing to be ashamed of.
I have made this mistake over and over and over again. Afraid to go against the grain of the world. I am no threat to anyone but myself when I don't listen to these truths of my experiences. I feel for all men that we should even live this way. Put pride in its place... educate the truth of peer
pressure

One thing I have ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
One thing I have failed to hear or see Jesus say, was that we are all born out of ignorance. If that is so, then don't we everything to learn? Sure He teaches, but why not make the world understand this? We have far to go, and so little time to get there. Man's fear is that we won't figure this out in time. As our ancestors havn't. We must find that common language. We are all short on time. Books of lessons must be written, it would save many hardships of those willing to learn and not waste it
America is the ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
America is the melting pot of all nations. It is the insecurities, and the securities that will either destroy this country, or unite us all as one. When man gets over this illusion that people of other races are against him, and see that people in his own immediate family have been more of a threat to them by not speaking the truth, then he will understand that even a foriegner looked out for his better interest. It is up to him to see the difference. This is how we measure our brothers.
MLK was bringing to ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
MLK was bringing to the surface, in words, the very same things that disturb us as we think about those thoughts. The things that NEED a solution, but we are not willing to face it. That is what I see when he speaks. It is much needed answers to much needed hurt. Nothing at all bad about that except the thought itself. They are things we must face to stop from enduring the same unpleasant thoughts over and over again which disturb us. Its how we solve problems. Our enemies are those that stop it
I would like to say ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
I would like to say these very last things...
Imagine this..
Lets say the words spoken by MLK we faceless, and nameless, and you didn't know who was speaking, but you heard the message. Reach deep down inside of yourself and ask if it would make a difference?
We cannot judge what stirs us up by the appearance of who does it, but concentrate on what it was that stirs us up. There we will know what drives us, and if we are truthful or where our intentions lay.
Also picutre this......
A man walks into a ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
A man walks into a courtroom, in handcuffs and ankle shackles, approaches the physically blind judge for trial.
As his attourney states the facts and claims made by his client to the judge, the judge listens carefully. As the attourney states the facts for the victim, the blind judge listens to his argument. The judge hears both sides and escapes to his room of diliberation as he ponders what he owes to so
ciety for the job he is hired to do. When the blind judge returns he sentences death!
After listening to ... ( 3 months ago by Descryminds)
After listening to his inner truth, he realized he made a grave mistake. Not because he did what was best for his own protection, but because he did what was best for the world around him. Only his confession came when he realized the man whom he sentenced to death was his Son.
A man should think about his judgements. And every judge should be absent of relation, color, sex, religeon.. because he should treat everyone who comes before him as if it could be his son. Never give up on people.

Dr. King wanted ... ( 2 months ago by jinkasima)
Dr. King wanted unity. Malcolm X wanted separation and supported hate. He even criticized Dr. King all the time for wanting racial integration. Dr. King was truly a hero for the Civil Rights Movement.

You're a dumbass. Without Malcolm X, the politicians would think those civil rights people to be only pushovers. No spine black people who think they can make a difference. Malcolm X emphasized on that we HAVE intelligence and won't tolerate a 'pat on the back' anymore.

Wow, so you only see the negativity of Malcolm X? Malcolm X holiday? Does Abraham from the bible have a holiday? Or more recently, the one who inspired MLK Jr. to do what he did - Gandhi. Every great person may not have their own holiday, but should not having a holiday take anything away from what he/she did?
