Thanks muchly for putting all of the Match of the 70s series up. Now then, has anyone out there got the ITV series There's Only One Brian Moore to put up here? Would love to see that again. Grateful if anyone could oblige.

No, they never made Match Of The Sixties - all the BBC footage of league football in the 60s is black and white, and the BBC won't show more than a minute of black and white on BBC1 these days.

Remember when Hancock's Half Hour was rerun on BBC1 at peaktime? Hard to believe it was as late as 1986.
Although they did rerun a load of old MOTDs quite a few of which were in b&w, about ten years ago - but those were dumped on weekday afternoons on BBC2.
For quite a few 1970s matches, only the goals actually exist in colour - the full edits as seen on MOTD at the time were only shown in b&w. Certainly when ESPN Classic showed the Arsenal-Man Utd game shown here it was b&w.
