jimmy car is awesome off the cuff, like he is here. it's just a shame he wants to do stand up that feels like it's copied and pasted from bernard manning in the 80s, and thinks it's ok cos he sounds ironic while he's doing it. really, his best bits in his standup show are like this one, or where he asks people in the audience questions. bit like paul merton in that respect...on HIGNFY he's brilliant all the time, but scripted on room 101 he's cringe worthy.
