The problem is that while Dubliners are an original an authentic band, these girls are nothing but a hollow product, one of those that we`re so used to see nowadays... They`re not band, but not good either, they dont add anything to the song, really, its nothing special... so I hated it ^^

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings helpgirl, I really didn't. But this is garbage Irish music it's neither true to the roots of the song nor well produced. This is to Irish music what McDonalds is to food. It's made to make money period as you say in the US. They have no interest in contributing to Irish music. This is the lowest common denominator in Irish Trad pop music. I've heard better renditions in Live music bars, with a solo singer and player!

I dont think that Celtic Woman is very good, and thats my honest opinion. I know a couple groups that perform these songs better including the Dubliners, and Celtic Thunder. Im not going to argue whether they are authentic or not but I still think that they do look very unconformtable in those dresses. Plus, they dont sound good live and arent very good.

Well someone out there likes them. You might also like to take into account the very poor sound and feedback in such studios. They are notoriously difficult to perform in. You might also want to check out other live performances of this piece on YouTube where they are prepared an din their element.

Good God! Those dresses. I can't imagine they'd get enough air in those! I have to say that at some times, it sounds like that too. Still they sing pretty good, and in such a studio! You can hear it in the instrumental parts, how bad the surroundings are for music.
Haha I really hope I'll never have to perform in such a dress, I can't imagine me breathing then =P haha.
