| I wanne be Dave. His show is the best late night show on TV since Carson left The Tonight Show. Dave is a good writer, he knows what sketches works, and he's a perfectionist which helps make the show a hit night after night. Johnny was the same way. I would love to take over The Late Show someday. If not right after Dave I hope after Jon Stewart takes it which I think he will most likely when Dave retires. David Letterman and Johnny Carson are the kings of Late Night!! |

| Rickles has a really good heart off camera. He always loves other comics like Dave, Jay Leno, Jon Stewart, Dennis Miller, Jimmy Kimmell, Bernie Mac, and even Sarah Silverman. They respect him for his legacy and how great a performer he is. He's one of the greats. |

| Rickles is being too polite. Jay Leno is a soulless, bloodless performer who makes the same sex jokes every show, and repeats questions to his bored quests every night. Leno's a disgrace. |

| i disagree, leno is more witty, and it's like he has more fun, he smiles more, he's energic, unlike letterman who's stiff and a worse interviewer than leno, imo. It's true that rickles works better with letterman but david will never ever have the johnny carson charisma, style and humor rip all comedians |

| I respect your opinion. The best example of why I don't like his interviewing is that whenever he talks to a person with an accent (esp. British or Australian), he immediately starts talking in a condescending fake accent mocking the person he's interviewing. It's totally awkward. |

| What David Letterman did during the writers strike was PAY all his employees out of his OWN pocket, SINCE CBS would NOT. He did that several weeks. It was said that Jay did not pay his employees. AND David has always been a supporter of Conan's, and even going to the NBC after he left and battin for Conan. David knows how to take care of his own. |

| Leno doesn't ask anything controversial...he plays it very safe. Dave has no problem asking certain questions that make viewers cringe. We only need to watch his interview with Paris Hilton to see evidence of this. SHEER BRILLIANCE. Se just got out of prison and didn't want to talk about it..because she had shit to sell and tout....but Dave.....he just wanted to talk about her prison experience. And with that...showing how much of a disgrace this young lady is. |
