Laughton, as far as I know, was neither the nicest nor the easiest person to be around, so I'm not too sure Fonda was commenting on Laughton mainly because he was gay. And if - well, there was seen and heard worse in the past, so at least I can live with that. After all, we all have some sort of prejudices, don't we? I know I have them, for sure.
